Contracts can be separated into various parts in order to have it clear and flexible. Standard terms are formulated to build a standard base and customized terms are formulated according to the needs of the project. The general conditions of contract in this structure give the general rules of behavior that are applicable in the majority of contracts like payment procedures, obligations, and legal requirements. Conversely, special conditions are specific clauses that are meant to be used in a specific project or situation. They can supersede or alter some general provisions to fit in some special needs. This difference enables what makes the contracts standardized and flexible, so they would be both in accordance with the principles of the general legal framework and, at the same time, would respond to the needs of the particular Agreement.
